Samsung Galaxy Tab to use touch screen LCD screen 7 “with the level of resolution (1024×600) pixel. The screen can produce sharp images and clear, and make minor writings looks fine. The color of the TFT LCD screen with a bright look, while for the point of view of the screen can be viewed from different angles well. On screen there is a light sensor that automatically changes the screen brightness to match the lighting in the neighborhood. The screen on the touch-sensitive LCD is touch screen, making it easier for us in using it. Screen 7 “still quite enough for a tablet PC, although you may be more likely to use horizontal mode when you’re doing web browsing.
Above the screen there is a light sensor and 1.3 megapixel cameras for video calls. At the bottom of the screen, you’ll find four touch buttons: Menu, Home, Back and Search. At the top there is a 3.5mm headset jack, while on the left side there is a microphone that allows you to make calls. On the right there is the power button / lock, key volume settings and SIM card slot and micro-SD memory. On the down side there is the charging port (very similar to Apple’s 30-pin connector) and two speakers. In the back there is a 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash.
Interface
Samsung Galaxy Tab uses Android 2.2 Froyo OS - an operating system that are popular among consumers tablets and Smartphone. Samsung did not fully use the Android OS on Galaxy Tab, because Galaxy Tab using TouchWiz UI 3.0. You can have up to nine home screen pages, premises of each page is able to accommodate 20 widgets. There are features of Live Wallpaper in order to create a visual experience more entertaining. The shift from page to page is very smooth and unhindered. There are also features of Helicopter View that is available on the home screen and the main menu, which allows you to go directly to a specific page.
It is started with the contacts application. Contact us to find the interface very nice and relaxing. You’ll have your contacts list on the left, with info and history of communication on the right - all in one view. There are also additional tabs that provide quick access to all functions such as Dialer, Log, Group, and Favorite. In applications Messages and Emails, texts are well visualized. Email can be viewed as a list or as a conversation.
