Have you ever heard of a printer that can print on media as hard as wood and stone? This is a breakthrough made by Hewlett-Packard (HP).
Printer engine product called the HP Scitex FB950 is claimed more and show leadership in areas of HP’s wide format printing, with high quality, impressive and quick.
In a statement on Thursday (25/03/2010) HP states, not just wood and stone that could be the HP Scitex FB950 print media. This printer can also print on other hard objects such as PVC pipe, acrylic materials, glass, to aluminium. With these advantages, the printer is targeting the consumer in wide format printing industry, in order to develop creative ideas that have never imagined before.

HP Scitex FB950 is designed as a productive wide format printer that can be counted on to meet the needs of a billboard print, material for the exhibition, to a variety of events supporting graphics are impressive with high quality. Six HP Scitex FB250 colour inks and print heads with twelve different ink droplet sizes were combined to produce detailed high-quality images up to 1200 × 600 optimized dpi and smooth colour transitions on a wide range of media used. HP Scitex FB250 UV inks are used also supports the printing environment is safe for health workers or customers because of the VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) that produced very low.
Not only that, the HP Scitex FB950 is equipped also with a solid media feed system consisting of a belt-driven vacuum system, an advanced media, two roller tables for supporting work in large quantities, a media alignment bar, and two rollers flatness media. Completeness, it makes this printer capable of printing material that is not flat, irregular, or materials which weighs up to 56.7 kg.
