Hardware
Nokia 5250 uses a touch screen display 2.8 “which is not too large, but the screen has a resolution of (360×640) pixels and generates 16 million colors. That means you’ll get a vivid color reproduction, and you will not be a problem to distinguish the text. However, the angle viewing screen of the Nokia 5250 a bit ugly and the screen cannot be used under direct sunlight.
At the front, the Nokia 5250 has three physical buttons that call, menu and end, whereas on the right side you’ll find buttons for adjusting the volume, slide the button to lock / unlock, and the camera shortcut button. You can find the 3.5 mm headset jack, micro-USB port for data and battery charging at the side of the phone. While on the back side there is only 2-megapixel camera.
Interface
Nokia 5250 uses Symbian OS S60 5th Edition. On the home screen, you can add the contacts that we often call for ease of communication. At the bottom there are also 2 buttons namely telephone and contacts. On it, there are 4 shortcut icons for the applications we use. On the menu page there is 3×4 grid application icons that we can choose. Nothing happens when we shift lagging or use heavy applications.
For typing, the Nokia 5250 is equipped with a numeric keyboard in portrait and QWERTY keyboard in landscape mode. Keys on the QWERTY keyboard is quite small, because the screen is used the Nokia 5250 is only 2.8 “but typing using the QWERTY keyboard did not become a big problem when we have become accustomed. The screen also has a good level of sensitivity so comfortable when used.
Camera
Nokia 5250 uses a 2 megapixel camera without flash. Interface on the camera provides features such as show the grid, self timer, color tone, and much more to be used. But the ability of the camera was mediocre; the camera does not support autofocus and no flash, not to mention the quality of the pictures taken by Nokia 5250 is still below our expectations. The resulting opaque colors, pictures look blurry and still far from the original.
